Greetings from the
University of Michigan and the 2008 Black Graduate Conference
in Psychology Planning Committee!
The 14th annual National Black Graduate Conference in Psychology
will return to the University of
Michigan from June 5th to 8th. As
always, this year’s conference will offer an opportunity
for Black graduate students in all
fields of psychology to come together to present their research,
gain professional development experiences, and network with other
graduate students in a welcoming environment. A host of
faculty from across the nation also will participate in the conference
and provide critical, but supportive feedback and share their
own experiences. The
conference program will include paper
and poster presentations by graduate students, workshops and
panel discussions on a variety of career and professional development
issues, as well as opportunities to socialize with black faculty
and graduate students in psychology.
The deadline for conference
presentation submissions (papers
or posters) is April 15, 2008. Submitters
will be notified of conference acceptance
by April 22, 2008 and will need to complete conference registration
by May 5, 2008.
We look forward to seeing you in Ann Arbor in June! |
