Greetings from New York University and the 2009 Black Graduate Conference in Psychology Planning Committee!

The 15th annual National Black Graduate Conference in Psychology will be hosted by New York University's Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development from June 4th to 7th, 2009. As always, this year's conference will offer an opportunity for Black graduate students in all fields of psychology to come together to present their research, gain professional development experiences, and network with other graduate students in a welcoming environment. A host of faculty from across the nation also will participate in the conference and provide critical, but supportive feedback. The conference program will include paper and poster presentations by graduate students, workshops and panel discussions on a variety of career and professional development issues, as well as opportunities to socialize with black faculty and graduate students in psychology.

The deadline for conference presentation submissions (papers or posters) is March 15, 2009. Submitters will be notified of conference acceptance by March 30, 2009 and will need to complete conference registration by May 1, 2009.
